Microsoft Across America truck is caught on the road
The Seattle PI’s Microsoft blog writer mentions this bit about the Microsoft Across America truck – this is an effort that’s part of the overall group I work in at Microsoft USA. It’s a group of dedicated technical presenters who hit lots of towns (not just the big ones) across the US year round, talking about developer subjects (MSDN), IT pro subjects (TechNet), small business, and other things.
A very cool way to get MS employees on the road and talking openly to real customers. In an era when everything is dominated by “scale scale SCALE!” (which usually means “move it online!”), it’s cool to remember how important face-to-face contact really is.
Been on hiatus from blogging for a while…lots going on offline with me. Expect a flurry of posts while I clean out my “blog this!” ideas folder.
