A pocket sized bit of creativity
A lofty title for a relatively simple topic – continuing the Moleskine notebook meme that’s been going around. After reading about the Moleskine in Steve Rubel’s post, I dropped over to the site, fell in love with the design and the FEEL of it all (who says branding is dead? The way they talk up the backstory, they turn a simple notebook into an inspiration).
SO I bought a couple, which I’m eagerly awaiting in the mail. I’m going on a bit of an adventure soon, and I wanted a REAL notebook, not one of the grade-school mass issue books you get at Target. Something like the little notebook Indy’s dad used in The Last Crusade, perhaps. Something substantial. We’ll see.
As if to reinforce by buying decision, today I run across Seth Godin’s post, which led me to Jason Berberich’s comments, which gelled with my own feelings about the notebooks.
I know I’m way late to this one (see Steve’s post back in September), but better late to a good thing than ignorant forever!
