Scoble quite justifiably takes a shot at Microsoft marketers for continuing to create content-driven sites that lack RSS.

True, the majority of your target audience probably doesn’t use RSS (yet). But the influencers probably do. If you want to create a one-visit-and-ignore experience for them, don’t include RSS. If you want to enable a real and lasting relationship (the ultimate opt-in), you have to set up an RSS feed. Always.
