Alfred Thompson wishes you all a Happy New Year…sort of. It’s the end of FY05 for all us ‘Softies, and we’re about to usher in a clean, crisp new FY! Traditionally a time of lots of change around here.

We’ve scheduled fireworks this weekend to celebrate nationally. 

As for me, I’ll be heading off for a month long leave during July to bond with my new daughter and help out my wife with the parenting chores. Now only if the Seattle weather would cooperate and give me a sunny leave, that would be nice.

I’m sure I’ll still be blogging away.
