Great summary of the whole IIPM flap
This one demonstrates that corporate embarassment at the hands of bloggers (ref: Kryptonite) is not bounded by geography. Instapundit points to a summary of the entire IIPM incident in India, by Mark Glaser on the USC Annenberg Online Journalism Review.
One commentator in the article lables this a “breakout moment” for Indian bloggers. It definitely seems so. The whole thing is a case study in how not to handle criticism in the age of 100 million active voices online.

Harbinger of things to come.
So far, the masses had no alternative but to let the Press do the investigative thing on their own whimsical sweet terms. No more.
Blogs have empowered people armed with just the google into holding huge corporates to task and accountability.
Truely, Power to the People.
Its clear that only confirmed morons have joined IIPM in the past and there will be many confirmed morons who will join IIPM in the future. No amount of blogging can save any moron from joining IIPM. So IIPM management have actually proved that (a) they are morons when they sued and protested. (b) they don’t know that they are morons and need bloggers to tell them that. (c) they don’t know that their students are morons and need bloggers to tell them that
