Kryptoniter blogs…on a team blog about the bike industry
Johnnie Moore points out that Donna Tocci, PR person from Kryptonite, is blogging but doesn’t reference her employer. However if you click on her profile, turns out she has a brand new group blog with other bicycle industry marketers called “Shut Up and Drink the Kool-Aid”, where she is pretty open about where she works:
Donna Tocci- Donna is the Public Relations Manager for Kryptonite. She’s a damned smart lady with a lot of incredible experience and knowledge in the PR/Marketing world. On top of it, she’s also incredibly nice. One of the main reasons I wanted to invite her to the party is because of her non-cycling background. For all of her cycling knowledge, passion and experience, she doesn’t “come from the cycling world” so to speak. Thanks to that, she has the unique perspectives of somebody who is simultaneously on the inside and on the outside of many issues. It is my belief that she will be able to lend some great perspectives.
I’m game for a new group marketing blog. Should be interesting.

Bicycle industry marketing blog
As a cyclist and former bike shop owner, I’ve longed for more marketing folks and cyling industry mavens to talk about the bike industry, something I’ve loved and followed now for 16 years. Great to hear (via Johnnie Moore & Kevin Briody) Donna of Kr…
Hey Kevin: Thanks so much for your entry about the Krew! We all appreciate that welcome. I’ll try to live up to a quarter of what Tim has written about me – he’s very generous in his description.
Just a note, this is something I’m doing on my own, too. Because it is a cycling related marketing blog it made sense to mention where I work, but it’s not a work thing, either. This is just an amazing group of people that I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with. We all hope that we can give you some gems here and there and that you’ll keep on coming back to visit!
Thanks, again! Donna
Thanks indeed. We hope to be a relevant and fun source of insight and occasional mockery of the marketing efforts in the world of two wheels.
Thank you for the mention and we hope you’ll keep popping by.
