Chris Brogan wrote up a nice post (which I can no longer find…) pointing out how often he has faces on his blog – pictures of himself, blog post photos, commenter avatars, and so on. They create a tangible sense of “presence” and community for anyone who finds themself scanning through his blog home page. A nice observation, and an effect I hadn’t really noticed before.

Well Steve Woodruff (@swoodruff) took that to a wonderful extreme, pointing out a simple tool that generates your Twitter follow list as avatars. A window into his own tweet community, chock full of faces.

It’s such a cool idea, here’s mine. Thanks to everyone who is following my Twitter stream! I’ll try to keep the commentary at least vaguely interesting, honest.

(Corrected, as I got Steve’s first name wrong. Sorry!)
